Hello, and thank you for visiting my site!
My name is Christian Zal-Herwitz (Oregon license #2878), and I am currently employed as a program manager and psychologist in Primary Care-Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) within the Montana VA Health Care System at the David J. Thatcher VA Clinic in Missoula, and I was previously employed as a PCMHI psychologist at the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics. My postdoctoral fellowship was in PCMHI at the Boise VA Medical Center, and I completed my predoctoral internship at the VA Central Western Massachusetts Healthcare System. I earned my doctoral degree from The University of Montana Clinical Psychology PhD program in 2015, where my research focused on alternative conceptualizations of the self as they relate to psychological well-being, with an emphasis on Buddhistic approaches.
